Public Works Director

The City of Cannon Falls is seeking applicants for the position of Public Works Director.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning
 - Organizing
 - Directing and overseeing the operations of the utility, street, park and fleet divisions
 - Developing and recommending a departmental budget
 - Snowplowing
 - Maintaining effective community relations
 - Possesses strong communication, leadership and organizational skills and thorough knowledge of safety policies;
 - Maintenance;
 - Operating Equipment
 
Minimum qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
 - Extensive experience with water/waste water operations, infrastructure maintenance, snow removal;
 - Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Special requirements include:
- MN Class D Water and Wastewater License
 - Valid commercial driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement.
 
Compensation
$83,636 - $105,934 depending on qualifications, plus benefits.
